S2/E39: THE THINNING TIME--HARVEST, GHOSTS, AND LONGEST WALK
Hey, y’all! The light has shifted and we now are walking toward the longest night, and I’m here for it. This summer has been somewhat brutal—although, if predictions are correct, the winter will be, as well. That reprieve that is on the way, that golden space in between, has been beckoning me. Today is all about ghost stories, preparing for end of the year, and reminding myself that my own beloved dead walk with me.
TW: at the end of this podcast, I share a letter from a listener who has lost her youngest son to a tragic accident. She has asked for me to share her letter to honor her son. It begins at about minute 34—but I’ve built in a reminder, so please be aware that it is there. Subjects discussed in that letter: grief, thoughts of self-harm.
